“One of the four Champagnes poured on the Titanic!” The Abele 1757 was one of the original Champagne houses (1757) which was why it was on the Titanic. It is the only one of the four which has remained small and family-owned. The others are now owned by huge corporations with enormous production and marketing budgets. Abele only started exporting to Australia 4 years ago. Its been our best seller since. Classic French Champagne at a great price, because its still not well-known here… but not for much longer!
