Poor Man’s “The Armagh”! This wine is made by Jim Barry’s daughter, Julie “the Good Catholic Girl”. Jim gave Julie the vineyard right next door to the iconic “The Armagh” vineyard in the Clare Valley in the early eighties. They planted the vineyard with cuttings from “The Armagh” vineyard.
Now mature vines and this Shiraz is made by Julie in the same way she watched Jim make “The Armagh” as she grew up. Big, bold minty Clare Valley shiraz with huge ageing potential, just like its big brother!
