Poggiotondo means “rounded hills”, the essence of Tuscany. This is a modern take on Chianti, 100% organic Sangiovese made in a more modern style. Hands off winemaking and a lighter touch, make for a wine just below medium-bodied and with a little less tannin. A good introduction to the wonderful wine of Chianti.
