The cool drink in Italian wine bars! A quaffable white which doesn’t need food….just delicious on its own. While “pecorino” means sheep, and the wine does pair brilliantly with pecorino cheese (made from sheep’s milk) it is actually named because sheep graze in the pecorino vineyards in Abruzzo. Almost extinct variety a few decades ago; now very popular!
