A SuperTuscan with no sangiovese at all. Part of the continuing trend to Cabernet dominant wines from Tuscany, this is mainly Cabernet, with a fair dollop of Cabernet Franc and some Merlot and Syrah. It needs some time in bottle but this producer provides that by holding back the Trasgaia for a number of years before release. A beautifully mature powerful wine.
