“Lacryma Christi” translates as “tears of Christ”. The winemaker thought the wine so beautiful, it must be from the tears of Christ! The grape is “Coda di Volpe” which translates as “tail of the fox” from the shape of the grape bunch. Pear, apple and citrus with notes of white peach. Lovely aperitif but with enough acid to cut through creamy pasta or risotto.
